Dear Anne, We were not able to read your email until we got back here to PC, a week ago on Thursday. For the last two weeks of our vacation, we had no internet ability. We were surprised because we were in Jersey, Channel Islands and in northern France. We read your email with great sorrow. Your mother was an amazing lady! We truly enjoyed her friendship and loved the years we spent together in New Jersey. She always had a smile on her face and enjoyed every moment of the challenges of life. We know you will miss her very much. You must think about her every day. Since reading your email, I have thought about Vi every day and I regret I'm only now writing to you. My excuse is a lame one - after getting back from an almost 8 week vacation, we had a lot to do in the house and it has taken us a week to get back to normal. I apologize that it has taken me so long to tell you that we share your sorrow and hope that all the wonderful memories you have of your mother's friendship, her advice and her sense of humor will help you during the coming months. Terry and I will always think of her as a great lady and a good friend.
